Heh. A warm nostalgic feeling.....just like listening to a 72 rpm vinyl record or an audio tape being played from a Sony Walkman as batteries output peters out.
Save that one for next year in case November 2018 mid term elections are somehow declared null and void, but in meantime country really needs a hardcore 21st century kickass EAS type broadcast with a message that is almost as intense as Stern's Berzerk speech output.
fun fluff thoughts: Understandable that the Walking Dead tv series wanted to almost exactly follow the comic book series, but what was overlooked was having an EAS type tv broadcast being played on a tv set during the first episode of Walking Dead. It could have been during a scene when main tv character Rick Grimes was in a semi unconscious mental state while his sheriff partner Shane (forget character last name....actor Jon Bernthal) is in the hospital room visiting and trying to communicate to Rick as best possible.
That is the moment when the EAS type broadcast should have been playing in the background while Shane is talking or at least Shane momentarily notices it somewhere within the hospital. I am sure had George Romero had a say at the time during first season production , George would have commented with something like "Let's add this effect to give it more reality...."
