well, it's correctly simulated to the extent the game needs because Cave really didn't care to make much use of the protection chips. There are some bootup tasks it performs that we don't emulate (like the checksum on the program rom, and only uploading the encryption table if it matches) but for the purpose of emulation they don't matter.
we have no attack plan for it anyway, and it's one of the later chip types, so even if we get code running on it (which is unlikely, it's not configured to run from any kind of external rom) we can't read out the first ~0x200 bytes.
