Ok, i see. So the real problem are those "rare" laserdisc-players? I mean 640x480i, is 320x240 in progressive mode. I guess you dont want to keep those games interlaced. It still would be a huge collection in terms of size, but maybe some option for users/gamers to have the possibility to convert a laserdisc game, in lets say .mp4 format but still maintaining the lossless format could help.
Would be a pity if those games will be lost. I dont know every game, but if there are any lightgun games, i would be sad .
