6 on front, 6 on back. 4 of each are 3.0.
At least they're where I want them, and I didn't resort to the "front panel with wires sticking out the back and connecting to the back ports" solution. I had a USB3.0 socket on the mobo, and now it's in use.
I don't technically need 3.0 up front, but availability is availability.
I'd replaced my black-on-black blue-lit keyboard with an unlit wireless Logitech for better visibility, but it's a cheap model that doesn't use the unifying receiver that my M705 mouse uses. When connecting either of those to the back, I get a poor connection, so they were taking up my front USB2.0s, which meant no headphones and my improvised phone-as-webcam had to use wifi. Now it's all good, until the next thing comes along.
