Well he was suggesting that the games be run natively which has no relevance to MAME and wouldn't be using any MAME components, so calling anything that does that 'MAME' wouldn't make sense as there wouldn't likely be a shred of MAME in it.
Yeah, MAME fully emulates some PC systems, but the recent MegaTouch games which are 486/Pentium era are pushing the limits of that right now.
