When I dumped it, it was a mess. Maybe it still is.
I haven't needed to print an image in a very long time, and all my image manipulation has been done in paint.net.
Printer's test image page: fine.
Paint.net's printing of an image created entirely in-app: faded, desaturated, no black, whatever it is that's wrong, it sucks.
I looked for a solution on the internet, and found replies several years old, saying things like "check your ink levels," "clean your print heads," "make the image darker," or "the file might not be in a format compatible with paint.net."
Same image printed by IrfanView, because it was handy: perfect.
Since PhotoShop Express from the Windows store is just a cropping tool with filters, going to GIMP2. Ah, new version just a this past week.
