Flyer describes occasional message during gameplay. So this matches your description.
When first seeing the flyer many years earlier, it gave appearance that it was a game with player flying a ship in space.....not shooting an anti-aircraft gun from the ground. The flyer doesn't appear to show grass/ground on bottom of the monitor.

Whoever designed the flyer did a deceptive job even though they did have one text description to find an escape in case vendors that purchased the game thought they were being misled.
The name Space Cyclone should have been "Shoot the Bems" as a title instead. It might have piqued (ie: peeked) more interest, but marketing departments then thought all games need the word "space" in order for game to sell which was dumb. Asteroids did just fine without the "space" prefix.
Maybe if Gremlin had added "Space" to Frogs and called it "Space Frogs", it would have been an arcade hit.
