Bravo. Good to know the Taito TT Defender (Japan) is now considered fully working.

Documented that Taito's T.T. New York New York ROMs match the Sigma set
src/mame/drivers/nyny.cpp
// NE01.IC10.2716 on Taito PCB -
TT New York New York (Japan) was documented last month. I thought some clone sets were added even if all the roms matched, but used different rom names. There was one example, maybe NATO Defense iirc. The Taito TT Defender (Japan) name should still be added in the section of:
src/mame/mame.lst
@source:nyny.cpp nyny // (c) 1980 Sigma Ent. Inc.
That way it is already known and accounted for so other newcomers don't mistake the Taito version of TT New York New York (Japan) has yet to be supported.
And it looks as if more work to be done with src/mame/drivers/nyny.cpp
Will ShouTime be able to help resolve a couple of these issues?
Known issues/to-do's: * What does port A on IC37 AY8910 do? It looks like a DAC, but this is not supported by the writes to the port. All the writes are 0x9X, usually 0x9b or 0x9d. Note that this is incorrectly referred to as port B on the schematics, but the pin #'s confirm it is, in fact port A. * What is the main CPU clock? 11.2Mhz / 16 goes through a MC4044 and a MC4024 analog chips before going to the EXTAL pin of the M6809
