I find some of the information even ShouTime uncovers to be questionable to be honest. Unless you can track down the actual programmers and they can remember exactly who they were working for at the time it's still unclear.

He's good with Japanese connections, however quite often I think what we end up with is 'the general consensus from Japan' which may indicate the truth, but is still some steps short of solid facts.

The Atlus connection on that game I just did the emulation for is another weird one. NTC on the PCB, NMK chips etc. no copyright, but apparently Atlus, not named anywhere were involved?

My line of thought is then 'Could it be they provided the cabinets / published it?'

NTC is a very strange name to have on the PCBs if they weren't involved in publishing tho. NTC more typically worked with Dooyong, although there was some NMK/Dooyong connection with Gun Dealer and Atlus did also publish some Dooyong games.

The NTC connection makes me wonder if Dooyong were somehow involved here (could even explain the lack of credit, Korean companies had a poor reputation in Japan) but it still seems unusual to have the name of one publisher on the PCB (NTC) and then attribute credit to another company that also mainly acted as a publisher / hardware supplier (Atlus)
