that's very presumptuous of you.
commenting out a line that was likely added for something else without further research isn't a real fix, and might not even be accepted. this has been explained to you at least 100 times before.
Saturn is a complex system, that code could be 100% correct, with a timing error causing it to be read at the wrong time.
How much of the Saturn library contained in the Software List did you test after making this change? How many of the other ST-V sets? any other observed changed in behaviour that could provide further evidence for or against the change? What do the VDP manuals state the behavior is for this case? has anybody else produced documents based on hardware testing for it?
