Wackerman, true to his name, used to be such a dork in the seat. Then, sometime after the 90s, he got hip. Good drumming, at least with Holdsworth, but I like Gary Husband the best in that run. Very tasty, never ostentatious.
Zappa was interesting. I like some of his instrumental stuff. The songs I'm not real into, but the texts are funny. Thing is, his schtick was real 60s (though of course he was doing it in the 50s).
The Steve Kipnich is decent. Probably got more radio play than his 80s successors.
Scifi frauds. SF illuminates.
