Males are infinitely more likely than a female to stalk and hurt another person, especially a female or child. Females are becoming more destructive due to social pressures. The male behavior is genetic. Safety comes before privilege. But ams want their cake and eat it. The problem within the topic story is that boy will soon be sprouting boobs. People aren't ready for that.
I think things like cub/boy/girlscouts is like sports, and should go the same way - the way of the Dodo. But I agree that sexual orientation isn't the same as gender orientation. Of course, 'gender' isn't a word in my working vocabulary.
PS: notice that kid's nose. That kind of....difference....seems to be a lot more common with these kinds of folks.
