How naive if you believe closing a window will stop a Trojan. If you are going to lecture, have a least the decency to be informed about how malicious software work.
And yes, it's responsibility of the user to run random executables, but it's also responsibility from forum administrators to moderate links to suspicious software. Also I think if the executable is posing as MAME itself, it's fair any MAME developer to advise against its use when such programs do suspicious things underground and without source code changes made public.
