You talk as if Civil War II didn't start already.
This is Abraham Lincoln's fault 100%. Trump is a symptom of a problem that Lincoln thought he could fix. No he just let 600,000 Americans get slaughtered for nothing. Could have let the south secede and quit slavery on their own 25 years later and kept their right wing roots. Saved all those lives and just lived separately, the left and right wings, to this day, as friends at a distance.
Ultimately the left and right can't live together and Lincoln should have foreseen that. He just bought 160 years. It only works when the majority of people *lean* left or right. When people jump off the left and right diving boards we can't live together.
After Lincoln's mistake, they told you the south shall rise again, and it just did.
