I forgot to put this info in the change log:
Preliminary font is gone because a lot of MAME games that have preliminary drivers are playable. They do work.
You can have a game with good driver but preliminary sound or preliminary color. This game is tagged as preliminary... see why ?
It makes no sense to show a custom font for non-working.
Now, if all driver status (driver, color, emulation, sound, etc...) were preliminary, then it would make sense. As of MAME v0.179, there are zero games that fall into this category.
Besides, Emu Loader have filters to show/hide games with preliminary drivers and also driver status columns for easy tracking. That's why they exist in the first place.
