Thank you Tafoid, that worked and was exactly what I was looking for.

I don't want to be the "boy who cried wolf", so I would like to get someone else to verify on their real machine, but it appears that either MAME has their left & right channels swapped, or the wiring in my cabinet is swapped. The wiring in my cabinet doesn't look like anyone messed with it.

Does anyone have a real Tron cabinet they might be willing to run a test? You'll need to take the marquee off (not as easy as it sounds because Midway usually used security torx screws for the marquee holder. Then disconnect either speaker (just pull one of the prongs off the tab to the speaker, it's not soldered, it's just push on) and go to self test and then channel test.

If I physically disconnect the left speaker, on the 6 channel test, 1, 2 & 3 are loud and 4, 5 & 6 are silent. When I connect the left speaker but disconnect the right speaker, I get the opposite (1, 2, & 3 are silent, 4, 5, & 6 are loud).

When I run the same test in MAME using the slider option, I get the exact opposite of the above. Anyone else with a real Tron game willing to check this out to verify either way?

Joe
