The first day Elevator Action was in the arcade near me, we were let out of school early due to threat of bad weather. I remember leaving school with clear skies, so my best friend and I went to the arcade. Elevator Action was on "free play", since it had just arrived.
We played for hours, and we were basically the only ones in the arcade. About 7 PM, we looked out and found several inches of snow on the ground... in Georgia, USA. Didn't even know it was snowing! Snow is rare here, so everything shuts down.
My friend drove me home, sliding all the way. I was in so much trouble. They knew about the early school closing and had no idea where I was.
