The "doorman" is really just a villager I trapped in my cellar. He keeps trying to get out through the secret exit though. And I haven't had an elevator in years. In fact, I don't think I ever finished the one I had been working on way back. My condo is a shack on a mountain peak... oh wait, there is a slime block exit. Only goes down though. Sure I have running water in the lab, but I never use that stuff, and I need to go outside to shovel coal for the furnace.
We set about trying to find a skeleton spawner way back, and that turned into a giant mine that never yielded the desired result. I abandoned the world after going a few months without seeing anyone. Lately I've been... well, I have electricity in a modded 1.7.10 world. Not compatible with the Mojang-run* server.
*(I don't need to be told that they only sell the space, and they're actually handled by a third party.)
