Granted my early computer gaming area was more of IBM DOS based games, it is great to see Apple II copy protected games look and act like they were unmodified original diskettes instead of the title screen having text such as "cracked by Sam Brown and the BYte Bandits" etc or the great, well-known group of Software Pirates Inc.

My computer system was unable to run a couple games when using the original IBM diskettes because copy protection didn't work with the diskette drive. Thanks to SPI and their impressive job during 1980s with well protected games and getting them unprotected, I was able to play a couple of them. My ire definitely towards Microprose such as their F-15 Strike Eagle II or maybe it was a different Microprose game that was refusing to run on my computer back then.

As one cracker stated back then: 'The copy protected game provides two gaming challenges. The game that comes with the diskette and how to defeat the copy protection itself. Two games in one." Harry Hacker iirc.

OT: The Sun Sytems emulation looks interesting.
