Finally somewhat of a dream coming true
05/28/16 05:37 AM

As some of you may know I have a big home game console collection and up until now most have been put away with no room or place to put them. Well my 18 yr old daughter has moved out for the summer with her mom and then college soooo I got her bedroom. Its a small room but still a room!

I have a 3 seat section out of a movie theater set up, a older Magnavox widescreen hi def standard t.v. so I can still use the light guns. Got a metal 7 shelf cabinet set up with the consoles going on it. Its almost not enough but hey its better than nothing!

I just have the consoles setting on the shelves so when you play a console, you take it off the shelf set it on my coffee table and hook it up and when your done, unhook and place back on the shelf.

So far I have the following systems:

Sega master system
genesis
dreamcast
Saturn

Nintendo
super Nintendo
n64
gamecube
wII

Intellivision 1
Intellivision 2
Arcadia 2001
Atari 2600

PS1
Ps2
Ps3

Xbox
Xbox 360

over half of these systems I have 3 to 4 of each complete systems. And still looking for systems I don't have yet.

the number of games I have for all of these systems is ridiculus, honestly don't know how many I have, I haven't gotten that far yet. But I'm around 170 each system for the nes, snes, dreamcast. The xbox, ps2, xbox 360 over several hundred each. The itellivisions 1 and 2, gamecube, Atari 2600, n64, somewhere between 50 to 70 each system,
The arcadia 2001, saturn, sega master, around 15 to 20 each.

Like to add some more Saturn, sega master games as I can find them.

so now I have to figure out how and where I'm going to put all the games, as I said its a small room.

I also have a bunch of accessories for them too and no place for those at all. thru the years I have picked up things like new in the box original Nintendo controllers, mouse, several guns, joystick. For the snes, I found a lethal enforcers gun in the oem box, a official Snes multitap boxed. The snes big joystick {looks like its set up for neogeo} and other numerous Items I thought would be cool if I had the room to display them.

My kids think I'm old and nuts to collect this stuff but 25 yrs from now when their ebaying my stuff off they will probably be happy I did collect it!

Anyway just wanted to share, it's nice to actually be able to walk in, pick a console and sit down and play it. Been dreaming of something like this for many years, Just wish there was a place in the room for my big mame arcade machine cabinet.

Only here to annoy...
