we know it exists on tourvision.

I confirmed that out of the 69 dumped tourvisoin cartridges all but 3 were 100% identical to the PCE roms.

The 3 that weren't, one is clearly a bootleg cart inside the epoxy (R-Type II, copyright strings were hacked) one appears to be a different revision of the game (Gomola Speed) probably just the original for it wasn't dumped, and the other is a 1 byte change (maybe the rom had gone bad, not sure, needs investigating)

but 66 were perfect matches. it's therefore fairly safe to assume Parasol Stars would be a perfect match, so it was added, rather than pay the extortionate rate some people want for it because "it isn't in MAME" (seriously $400-$500 for a cart that is just a PCE cart inside an outer epoxy casing) It's marked as bad dump so if somebody really wants to verify it one day they can, but I'm confident it will be the same.

there is literally nothing special about the tourvision games, they just grabbed whatever Hucards they could, put them in a new case with an adapter for a different pinout and filled them with epoxy, doesn't even look like they cared if they were original or bootleg HuCards in the first place, just whatever they could get their hands on. If you rip the carts aparts you can find the original labels still buried under all the epoxy.

so yeah, "MAME tourvis parasol" will run parasol stars, as will "MAME pce parasol" which you were better off using anyway.
