No, the IPAC Ultimate is plugged in via USB & everything else works fine. The spinner is plugged directly into the ipac. Checked the power coming off the ipac & got the +5v & ground no problems there.
Swapped it around to the trackball pins & still nothing on either axis there.
Ran WinIPAC & reconfigured that every way that I could, same with MAME, still no love. (On a side note, aren't the settings supposed to stay configured? Every time I reboot the spinner & trackball are disabled & I have to reset them?)
Everything else on the IPAC works fine in MAME(v172), an empty text file, or even on the desktop(Win 10). The spinner is the only component that will not work.
Shouldn't the spinner & a trackball work the same as a USB mouse or is it different?
I would assume that it shouldn't be this difficult to get working, maybe the new Spintrak is actually bad?
Thanks for any help, Bill
Pessimist: Oh, this can't get any worse!
Optimist: Yes, it can!
