Not sure if it's any good yet... still reading. I'm a bit underwhelmed already.
Right off the bat I'm questioning the author's credibility after I see he titled Sauron as "Sauron the VIII". Why is he the VIII considering, to the Orcs, he should have been their first leader... at most their second, having been Morgoth's first Lieutenant. Who are the seven others who presumably preceded him?
[Edit]Also, in the book, Saruman talks with Gandalf... but in this age, as a member of the counsel, he was known as Olórin, not Gandalf. It was men who gave him that name later. The author did not do his homework. I'm not even that much of a LOTR geek, and I know this. Why am I still reading this?[/edit]
