It is part of the MEWUI integration that is on-going.
Commands (I presume it is the command.dat file) will show you moves lists and stuff if the game you've selected has them (mostly fighting games). Unsure if this has been updated in many years. MAMESCORES is just that, list document of high scores that others have gotten. http://www.arcadehits.net/mamescore
Unsure if either of those will be retained as part of the mainline UI or not at this point. Time will tell.
