There's a major, major difference in that the stuff in MAME is not for sale 'as new' None of it is current gen.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised, you've shown your lamer kiddie side in the past, pressing for emulation of the latest hacked PC based arcades etc. and before that with various posts bragging about how you've spent so much on your PC but not a penny on original systems etc.
This stuff HURTS us in the long run, significantly, but keep on championing it.
