Kind of a long story.

I had a 2014 JPAC for a while. Works great in my DDR machine. I wanted to set up stepmania for my friend in her DDR machine so she ordered a 2015 JPAC. I tried setting it up in her machine and specifically the 1P and 2P Start buttons, up arrows, and right arrows will not work. After about 24 hours of troubleshooting this I got the idea to swap out my 2014 JPAC and it worked perfectly.

So now I've got her 2015 JPAC in my machine and am testing it. I'm getting the same issues. 1P and 2P Start buttons, Up arrows and Right arrows not working.

A bit confused, concerned I have a defective JPAC. Curious if anyone has any ideas.

edit: Fixed my problems. Confirmed a defect. Worked around it.
