As most of you know, I both live in Japan and have a Japanese wife. She naturally prefers to have Japanese subtitles when watching movies. Keep in mind that as far as Blu-ray in concerned, USA and JP are the same region.
The issue is that while many discs work perfectly, there are many more that don't even show Japanese as an option under subtitles when playing on my PS3 or PS4. The same discs play fine and Japanese subtitles can be selected on my PC. What could be the cause? Is there a fix? My PS4 has no hax or trickery, while my PS3 is fully hacked, so I can install any fix that may be out there (but I can't find...)
Just broke my personal record for number of consecutive days without dying!
