I bought all my controls years ago, so many I can't even remember when. I'm just dusted off my box of parts, and found these two controllers. I know that they are an I-PAC and Opti-PAC, however I do not know the versions.
All I have is what is shown. I do not have any cabling (I'm going to blame the ex-wife). What do I need to get these connected to a modern day machine (will have to use a USB to serial and a PS/2 to USB as my intended MAME machine will not have serial or PS/2).
Where can I download the WinIPAC software used to program these devices? Drivers? Everything I see on the Ultimarc site is for the newer versions.
Once a board version is identified, how do I determine firmware version on the board(s)? Where would I get firmware updates, if available?
