How is it a separate network? Do you have a domain controller or otherwise a machine running a server? If that's the case, then on your PC, you need to add it to the domain. An SSID and password does not make a "Separate network". Look at the IP address of your computer and the IP address of a different device on your wireless network. if it looks like 192.168.1.x or 192.168.0.x on BOTH, then you are NOT on different networks. If the spot where the ".0" or ".1" is, is different, then you need to go into your network and sharing center, go into the properties of your NIC, and ensure it is set to receive an IP address by DHCP (look at the IPv4 properties). If it is already setup that way, then you need to try either manually entering an IP address within the range of your other devices, or you need to leave your homegroup/network if your sharing center says you are a part of one.
