I was ignoring the rules? Oh really? Read my original post. I was asking where and how to report a bug, right off the bat. I wasn't trying to report it here and I didn't until I was asked.
> What makes your time more valuable than ours?
This is the first time I have seen that question.
>I can't imagine why people weren't positively falling over themselves to verify your bug, what with your cheery attitude and all.
I asked where to report a bug. I got asked what version I was using and I replied. I got asked at least a couple times why I was reporting a bug with an old version. I did not have a bad attitude in any of the previous replies.
>Not to mention that you still haven't answered my question as to why your time is so much more important than everyone else's.
Wow, you ask me the same question twice in one post, with the second time asking why I didn't respond to your question the first time? Hmmm... Do you see the impossibility of me being able to respond to that question sooner? No, probably not. I guess I don't need to even answer the question then, as you're clearly not willing to listen, not even willing to listen to your own replies.
But I'll answer anyhow. I never claimed my time was more valuable than anyone else's. (If you think I did, please point it out). I asked for help to verify, because as you said in your own words, I am in poverty and can't run out and buy a new PC. Yes, my poverty is not MAME's problem. I acknowledge that. So you're saying that means no bug should be reported unless you can afford it?
