Yes.. two rotating media drives. one of them, you will never need anymore and the other... well if the HDD dies, buy another... simple as that and at the time where it dies, the price tag for something similar will be like 10€ . Everything else (games) you can find in the WWW.
The XBOX is so easy to repair and to modd, it contains nothing really problematic. A capacitor is not the end, you know. Beside the only capacitor that is bad on a XBOX, is the one for the clock, just cap it and problem is gone.
We are talking here about the first XBOX and not the crap that came after it  .
I will play the real thing, you can waste your time with waiting  .
