Yeah, funny how people don't get that you can say, 'well doo it a-nay-wayyy'.

Just unchecking driver updates in Catalyst should be fine.....except, I think the AVGA drivers don't have Catalyst with them, so you should be fine after installing.

Install the drivers manually to begin with, then when it says the drivers aren't signed say yes that you want to install them anyway. Unless they changed something (or more likely, my memory is a bit off) that should do it.

Make sure you have admin privileges to do the install.

Also make sure that after you install turn off the auto update in the catalyst menu. Otherwise when you do re-boot it'll install the latest & then you'll be screwed &
have to start over again.

Also make sure that Winblowz isn't set to download & install updates automatically. Otherwise same situation will occur & it not worky.
