You know, it's sad and yet it's not really. I just think about what he accomplished: He lived 89 years. He did what he loved doing for his entire life, he was physically and mentally able right up until the end, and was still able to perform well into the last year of his life. He was a legend in his own lifetime, and an icon of an entire genre of music, literally heaped with accolades, honors, and awards. If I live as long and am 1/10 as successful I wouldn't want anyone to mourn my passing.
