Most impressive system currently playable?

Anyone know the most recent/impressive system playable by MAME on modern CPUs (ie. overclocked SB/IB/Haswell)?

More advanced than Gaelco3d (~1997) and Vegas? Quite impressed with the Gaelco3D graphics.

Obviously Naomi isn't playable and certainly not at 100% speed.
