Native Resolutions with Component CRT TV

Hello!

I'm pretty sure a lot of people in here have tried this before.

I want to send 15 khz with native resolutions to my Component YUV CRT TV using the following setup:

PC running MAME with Soft15khz -> VGA to SCART Cable (passive) -> SCART to Component active converter (those boxes we find at ebay) -> CRT TV with component in

Has anyone accomplished that? I want to make sure it will work before I spend $80 with the hardware.

Currently I'm using my video board TV-Out bit it converts the signal to NTSC which distorces the image. I want to upgrade to native resolutions!!

Please, please, please help!!
