Just some quick thoughts:
Why can't they do what they've done before?
I know it's a little bit different but, a lot of the other chds such as DDRs & then the naomi stuff was originally dumped & added then re-dumped and/or changed when new information or methods became available. If it's only because it wouldn't be exactly the same as "original/true" data there are plenty of other simulations or approximations already in MAME. Samples & artwork anyone?
