I've never been a drinker, just isn't in my genes, but I do like a tasty beer/ale/liqueur/drink.....usually less than once a month.....but last Friday I went to a party with someone, and I thought I'd bring something to at least leave there for those who hosted me and all.
We stopped at a 7/11, and I was looking in the decent brew case (you know, versus the butt-wiper, coors, and cheap brew case), and nearly eye level was this stuff called Lemon Berry Shandy. Leininkugel. Seemed I'd seen it before.....I like Blue Moon....mmmm, naw, let's try this.
I didn't have any at the party. But when I got home, I had the hankering to try one. And damn was it good. Lighter than a wheat beer, rich orange-amber color, tasty and refreshing tail on it. Buzz - yes, I get a buzz from a single drink - was a little removed, kinda like some grapefruit/orange wine my aunt and uncle made some years ago.
I could drink this every day. I haven't, I haven't had another, because I haven't craved it, but day-um. Fu-ckin Leiniee... Two thumbs up.
