What? That would only be true if yours was the only consciousness in the virtual reality... that each individual has their own private simulated existence... but the matrix is a virtual reality for all the subjects in "cocoon" energy collection receptacles... thus many of those individuals may notice the same glitches of the simulated reality. It's less like a flight simulator for one user, and more like a mmorpg.
