This release addresses just one problem - the removal of -memcard_directory from the MAME command line in a recent release of MAME. This prevented pfeMAME from running the game.
A future release will clean up all memcard options properly.
pfeMAME is a MAME front end written in python and distributed for Linux and Windows. It is designed for desktops and MAME arcade cabinets (Cabinet tile view with joystic navigation).
