I was saying I liked the whole of XP (blue) out of the box. The only thing I changed, eventually, was to classic view to get that left side bar out of the way that I never used. Don't use it on 7, either.
And, in particular, on XP I liked the rounded task bar buttons and start menu. Rounded corners, and 'economical shapes' in anime, in the 80s has left an enduring impression on me.
But, after spending my wad in tantrum enough, and because it just wasn't worth it any more, I....changed.
