It would be completely worthless because things like
-Midway for a while called all their early releases "protos" -We are using guesswork in some of our labeling of games as protos -Some games that are technically protos are further along in finalizing than non-protos -Some games in mame are protos and not labeled as such because we have no way of knowing everything about every rom set -Intermingling of the term with things like test location and show version are forever unclear
I wish people could just enjoy what we've done instead of getting knotted up over anal shit like proto.ini and getting 100% arcade monitor simulation instead of just 99%. Emulation is a 99% science.
