I've been using an old version of mame for a long time and I wanted to try out all the new features (HLSL mostly), so I downloaded .154 and it's great.
One thing I haven't figured out is what the web subdir in mame directory is.
I cannot find any documentation about it (maybe I just didn't see it), but looking at the mame.ini I found these lines (I guess they're about the web thing):
http 0
http_port 8080
http_path web
Even setting 'http 1' does nothing so I'm assuming I'm doing something is wrong.
What does the web interface do?
How do I enable it / how can I access it?
If there's a documentation file please point me at it, so I can read about it.
