I'm thinking of changing over to a dryloop DSL and just dropping my phone service.
..But, using a voip service instead. Which, from what I understand, allows me to have more control over things. Like call blocking, or allowing certain numbers to call me. With my current phone service (CenturyLink) I can only block local calls. But being someone that works the graveyard shift, and sleeping days, it would be great to block calls that aren't local (e.g. nuisance calls for charity organizations, reducing my credit card interest rate, etc. -even though I'm registered on the 'Do Not Call' list).
So, any recommendations?
