My friend and I been working on his new mame arcade cabinet and ran into an issue when trying to configure 2 AimTrak Guns. Whenever the utility is ran I get a 'unhanded exception error' when I attempt to choose a device or access options. The guns however do work in Mame but because I can't use the program I am unable set an ID for each gun.
As a test I downloaded the utility onto my Win7 laptop and had no issues configuring either Gun. (Also note that configuring the guns on my laptop did not fix the issue when connected to the win8 box).
The Win8 has .Net 4.5 installed (and I believe this cannot be brought down to a lower ver as .Net is standard and required for Win8). My laptop was running .Net 3.5.
Would appreciate any help from people who have experience with win8 setups. If you need any more information or clarification please let me know and i'll get it for you asap. Thanks!!
