So, I'm getting back into playing MAME after a long hiatus. Got the newest stable version, I think (It's MAME64UI 0.153), and have noticed that some of my ROMS which had worked when last used no longer work. I did a search, downloaded new copies, but they still don't work. Some of them (Viewpoint) require a BIOS file, so I got a newer version of that. However, most of them (Spy Hunter) don't require a BIOS. I hate to sound like a complete newbie, but what changed so that they no longer work? I get an error message that the ROMS are missing files, but I know in one case the files are there, and the game is listed as working. Is there something I'm missing (besides my mind)? TIA!
