I run four monitors in total. If you have a DP port you can get a Startech passive VGA adapter for $25 which allows for much higher resolutions than 1024x768. If you utilize eyeinfinity you can get video surround for your games. The card is not expensive and runs under 40w. I use the USB VGA for the fourth monitor, but if it is for gaming, I would look at the display port option.
