Periodically I connect a USB backup drive to archive MAME, but it gets a bit time consuming to delete the archived MAME folder on the USB drive and replace it with a copy of the new one from the PC (as post ClrMamePro there's often numerous changed files/folders).
So what I'm looking for is some software I can launch myself when I want to (as opposed to a service/mirrored/automated backup) that can compare the MAME folder on my PC and make sure the one on the USB drive is identical (i.e. copy/delete files from the USB drive to make it the same).
This could also be used to backup (for example) a music collection, rather than remembering which files/folders have been added since the last backup.
Any suggestions? Freeware ideally. Just wondering what people (who don't use RAID/NAS drives to backup) use.
Thanks!
