Back when I was married, I swear my ex-wife aimed her car at every single hole in the street when she was driving. I thought it was just because she was an idiot, which is one of the reasons I divorced her.
Fast forward fifteen years, and my fiancée does the same damn thing, although she's not an idiot. She gets more flats than anyone I know. I pointed out to her that she runs over every grating/depression/hole on the parkway, and all she'd have to do is drive a little more centered in her lane. No change. And now this winter has all but destroyed the roads around here, yet she hits every avoidable pothole.
Is this a chick thing? Do they just not care? How do you reason with them??
