Sure. To clarify:

Was purely aimed at decoding the PWM data, i.e. sampling before the PWM demodulation or afterwards.
I was expecting the laser disc to be outputting NTSC not RGB, so wasn't even considering comb/notch filter when I wrote the original comment. I should have re-read what I originally wrote before replying
I'm not sure that an uncompressed sample of the laser disc would be practical for use in MAME though (whether it's sampled from the laser pick up or after the PWM decoding).
