So, I installed Windows 7 on my personal PC for the first time sometime in the middle of last year. I was running XP before that. I'm confused on how they expect people to use "libraries".
Under the "Users" folder, there's a folder for "Bill", which is my account. Under that, I have "My Documents", "My Music", "My Pictures", "My Videos", etc... Stuff I find online indicates that these folders no longer exist in Windows 7, and everything is done through the "libraries". I don't recall creating any of these folders, so I don't know how they got there.
My Libraries folders are all empty except for "Documents" because I think I saved some stuff there.
The weird thing is that when I try to save an image from the web into Users\Bill\My Pictures, I get a permissions error, so I guess I'm supposed to be saving shit into Libraries\Pictures or something. It doesn't make any sense.
WTF Microsoft? I don't get this at all.
